EULA — The End User License Agreement
Please read this carefully!
The End User License Agreement (EULA) is a binding contract between a licensee (“You”) and Interval Type. By downloading and/or installing, copying, or using the Font Software, You agree to comply with conditions of this Agreement.
Definitions
“Font Software”, “Fonts” or a “Font”, all have the same meaning and are defined as designs or Fonts available for purchase on the website www.intervaltype.com and embedded into software. The list of Fonts and the appropriate license details can be found on Your receipt.
“Interval Type” is a registered brand name of Ilya Naumov.
“You” are a licensee or a customer who has purchased a licence to use the Font.
Grant of license
Upon full payment Interval Type grants You non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual right to install and use the Font Software on a number of devices chosen during the checkout process and identified on Your receipt. The Font Software can be used worldwide.
Modifications
You are allowed to modify the outlined artworks of the Font(s) in graphic design programs such as Illustrator or Affinity Designer. It is strictly prohibited to alter, modify, adapt, decompile, reverse engineer our Font Software with the purpose of adding a new functionality or creating a usable substitute or a derivative version. If You would like to make any specific modifications to the Font Software please contact us directly.
Embedding
You may embed the Font(s) into Acrobat Reader PDF or similar PDF-type documents solely for the purpose of presentation of designs or information or sending these documents to print or a service bureau working on Your behalf. You may embed this Font(s) on websites using CSS @Font-faces rules granted the appropriate number of licenses have been purchased. To embed the Font(s) into eBooks or applications please purchase the appropriate license(s).
Distribution
Except cases that are expressly permitted by a specific license or contract, You may not distribute, reproduce, share, rent, lend, give away, or sell the Font(s). You agree to take all necessary actions to prevent any third parties from reproducing, distributing, giving away or re-selling the Font(s).
Copies
You have the right to make one (1) copy of the Font Software for back-up purposes only. Upon termination of this agreement You must delete this copy from all Your devices.
Transfer of License
You are not permitted to transfer this license to third parties. You may make a temporary copy of the Font Software to provide to a third party who is working on Your behalf for use in the production of Your own materials. If the third party uses the Font(s) on Your behalf they agree to the terms of this license, and must delete all copies of the Font Software on completion of the work.
Copyright
This Font Software, as well as all the designs embedded therein is the exclusive property of Interval Type. Therefore this agreement grants You a non-exclusive right to use this Font Software and is not in any way a transfer of ownership.
Disclaimer and Warranty
This Font Software may not be returned or exchanged. Interval Type shall in no event be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including damages from loss of business profits, business interruption, and loss of business information, arising out of the use or inability to use the product. Interval Type shall not be liable to You or any other person or entity for any general, special, direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or other damages arising out of the use of the Font Software.
Termination
Failure to comply with this Agreement will be the cause for its immediate termination. You then must delete all the copies of the Font Software that You have in Your possession.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed and enforced by the laws of France. All disputes that cannot not be solved between a licensee and Interval Type in an amicable manner will be deferred to the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris.

+ Desktop License
Desktop License allows You to install and use the Font(s) on a defined number of workstations/computers that You own. You may use desktop Licensed Font(s) to create any images for print or web given they are of a fixed size and in a raster format such as gif, jpg or png. You may produce paper publications, magazines, brochures, books, paper advertising, vinyl, cd or tape covers, PDF presentations and marketing materials. Font embedding into SVG is not allowed under this licence. It is not permitted to edit, alter or convert the Font software in any way. Desktop License does not permit TV or internet broadcasting. Font(s) purchased on intervaltype.com under the Desktop License may not be embedded into any software, web page or server. You agree to take all necessary actions to prevent any third parties from reproducing, distributing, giving away or re-selling the Font(s).
+ Logo License
Desktop License doesn't allow the use of our Font(s) for a logotype. If you would like to use one of our Font(s) for the creation of a logo, please contact us via e-mail: hello@intervaltype.com The usage conditions are determinded by the number of emplolyees in your company.
+ Web License
Web License allows You to use the Font(s) on websites using CSS @Font-face rules as long as You use the .woff or .woff2 files provided on www.intervaltype.com website and purchase a License with an appropriate number of monthly views. You may use the Font(s) on an unlimited number of domains as long as these domains belong to You personally, or are purchased for Your company(s). Font(s) purchased on www.intervaltype.com under the Web License may not be embedded into software or hardware such as: video games, navigation systems, mobile apps, e-books, phones, TVs or cameras. It is not permitted to edit, convert or alter the Font(s) in any way. You agree to take all necessary actions to prevent any third parties from reproducing, distributing, giving away or re-selling the Font(s).
+ App License
App License permits You to embed the Font(s) into software or hardware such as: video games, navigation systems, mobile apps, e-books, phones, TVs or cameras. One App License is required for one embed/installation. (Example: in case You want to use Font(s) for one mobile app and one e-book You will need to purchase 2 App Licenses). You may not edit, convert, alter the Font(s) in any way. By purchasing the App License You therefore agree to take all necessary actions to prevent any third parties from reproducing, distributing, giving away or re-selling the Font(s).
+ Trial Font License
Trial License grants You the right to test the Font(s). You may use the Font(s) on Your own personal computer to evaluate if it is the right fit for Your project, or for internal presentations to clients or prospects only. You are not permitted to use Trial Fonts for personal or commercial projects. It is not permitted to embed Trial Fonts into any software or web pages. It is not permitted to change, alter or convert the Font Trial files in any way.
FAQ
My fonts don’t work — what do I do?
We take great care in verifying and testing our fonts prior to their release. However if you think there’s a disfunction please take a screenshot and send us an e-mail describing the problem. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Can I get a Free Trial?
Yes we offer free trials. These fonts, just like their name suggest, are for testing purposes only and cannot be used neither for personal nor for commercial projects.
Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds. Every purchase made on intervaltype.com is definite. Please download free font trials to make sure it’s the right fit for your project.
Can I send the fonts I bought here to a client?
No, our license does not permit transferring licenses to third parties. If you are a designer or an agency you can purchase a license specifying the name of your client as a license owner.
Do you offer customisation of design?
Yes. We offer customisation of typefaces from our catalogue as well as new and unique type designs. Please contact us for more information.
