EULA — The End User License Agreement
Please read this carefully!
This End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between you (“You” or “Licensee”) and Ilya Naumov, operating under the registered brand name Interval Type (“Interval Type,” “we,” or “us”). By downloading, installing, copying, or using the Font Software (as defined below), You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If You do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, or use the Font Software.
Definitions
“Font Software,” “Fonts,” or “Font” refers to the digital typeface designs and software available for purchase on the website www.intervaltype.com and embedded into software. The specific Fonts and corresponding license details are listed on Your receipt.
“Interval Type” is the registered brand name of Ilya Naumov.
“You” or “Licensee” refers to the individual or entity that has purchased a license to use the Font Software.
Grant of license
Upon full payment, Interval Type grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Font Software on the number of devices specified during the checkout process and identified on Your receipt. This license permits worldwide use of the Font Software.
Modifications
You may modify the outlined artworks of the Font(s) in graphic design programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Affinity Designer. However, You are strictly prohibited from altering, modifying, adapting, decompiling, or reverse engineering the Font Software to create derivative versions, add new functionality, or develop a substitute product. If You require specific modifications to the Font Software, please contact us directly at hello@intervaltype.com.
Embedding
You may embed the Font(s) into PDF documents (e.g., Acrobat Reader) for the purpose of presenting designs, sharing information, or sending documents to print or a service bureau acting on Your behalf. You may also embed the Font(s) on websites using CSS @font-face rules, provided You have purchased the appropriate number of licenses. To embed the Font(s) into eBooks or applications, You must purchase the corresponding license(s).
Distribution
Unless expressly permitted by a specific license or contract, You may not distribute, reproduce, share, rent, lend, give away, or sell the Font(s). You agree to take all reasonable measures to prevent third parties from reproducing, distributing, or misusing the Font(s).
Backup Copies
You are permitted to make one (1) backup copy of the Font Software solely for archival purposes. Upon termination of this Agreement, You must delete all copies of the Font Software, including backup copies, from Your devices and storage systems.
Transfer of License
You may not transfer this license to third parties. However, You may provide a temporary copy of the Font Software to a third party (e.g., a designer or contractor) working on Your behalf for the production of Your materials. The third party must agree to comply with the terms of this Agreement and delete all copies of the Font Software upon completion of the work.
Copyright and Ownership
The Font Software, including all embedded designs, is the exclusive intellectual property of Interval Type. This Agreement grants You a non-exclusive license to use the Font Software and does not transfer ownership of the Font Software or its intellectual property rights to You.
Disclaimer and Warranty
The Font Software is provided “as is” and may not be returned or exchanged.
Interval Type makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Font Software, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Interval Type shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the Font Software, including but not limited to loss of business profits, business interruption, or loss of business information.
Termination
Failure to comply with this Agreement will result in its immediate termination. Upon termination, You must cease all use of the Font Software and delete all copies from Your devices and storage systems.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably between You and Interval Type shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris.

License compliance
Interval Type works with FontRadar.com to monitor and ensure compliance with this Agreement.
+ Desktop License
The Desktop License grants You the right to install and use the Font(s) on a specified number of workstations or computers that You own, as defined during the checkout process and indicated on Your receipt. Under this license, You may use the Font(s) to create static images for print or web, provided they are in a fixed size and raster format, such as GIF, JPG, or PNG. Additionally, You may produce physical and digital materials, including but not limited to paper publications (e.g., magazines, brochures, books), advertising materials (e.g., posters, billboards, vinyl wraps), CD or tape covers, PDF presentations, and marketing materials.
However, the Desktop License does not permit embedding the Font(s) into SVG files, software, web pages, or servers. You may not use the Font(s) for TV broadcasts, streaming, or internet broadcasting. Furthermore, editing, altering, adapting, or converting the Font Software in any way is strictly prohibited. The Font(s) purchased under the Desktop License may not be embedded into eBooks, mobile apps, or other digital applications without purchasing the appropriate additional license(s).
You agree not to distribute, reproduce, share, rent, lend, give away, or sell the Font(s) and to take all necessary measures to prevent third parties from reproducing, distributing, or misusing the Font(s). Failure to comply with these terms will result in the immediate termination of this license. Upon termination, You must cease all use of the Font(s) and delete all copies from Your devices and storage systems.
+ Logo License
Desktop License doesn't allow the use of our Font(s) for a logotype. If you would like to use one of our Font(s) for the creation of a logo, please contact us via e-mail: hello@intervaltype.com The usage conditions are determinded by the number of emplolyees in your company.
+ Web License
The Web License grants You the right to use the Font(s) on websites through CSS @font-face rules, provided You use the .woff or .woff2 files provided on the www.intervaltype.com website and purchase a license that corresponds to the appropriate number of monthly page views. You may use the Font(s) on an unlimited number of domains, as long as these domains are owned by You personally or by Your company.
However, the Web License does not permit embedding the Font(s) into software, hardware, or digital products, including but not limited to video games, navigation systems, mobile apps, e-books, phones, TVs, or cameras. Additionally, You are strictly prohibited from editing, converting, or altering the Font(s) in any way.
You agree not to distribute, reproduce, share, rent, lend, give away, or sell the Font(s) and to take all necessary measures to prevent third parties from reproducing, distributing, or misusing the Font(s). Failure to comply with these terms will result in the immediate termination of this license. Upon termination, You must cease all use of the Font(s) and delete all copies from Your servers and storage systems.
+ App License
The App License grants You the right to embed the Font(s) into software or hardware, including but not limited to video games, navigation systems, mobile apps, e-books, phones, TVs, or cameras. One App License is required for each distinct embed or installation. For example, if You intend to use the Font(s) in both a mobile app and an e-book, You must purchase two separate App Licenses.
However, the App License does not permit editing, converting, or altering the Font(s) in any way. By purchasing the App License, You agree not to distribute, reproduce, share, rent, lend, give away, or sell the Font(s) and to take all necessary measures to prevent third parties from reproducing, distributing, or misusing the Font(s).
Failure to comply with these terms will result in the immediate termination of this license. Upon termination, You must cease all use of the Font(s) and delete all copies from Your software, hardware, and storage systems.
+ Trial Font License
The Trial License grants You the right to test the Font(s) for evaluation purposes only. You may install and use the Font(s) on Your personal computer to determine if it is suitable for Your project or for internal presentations to clients or prospects. However, the Trial License does not permit the use of the Font(s) in personal or commercial projects, nor does it allow embedding the Font(s) into any software, web pages, or digital products.
Additionally, You are strictly prohibited from editing, altering, converting, or modifying the Trial Font files in any way. The Trial License is intended solely for evaluation, and any use beyond this scope is a violation of this Agreement.
Failure to comply with these terms will result in the immediate termination of this license. Upon termination, You must cease all use of the Font(s) and delete all copies from Your devices and storage systems.
FAQ
My fonts don’t work — what do I do?
We take great care in verifying and testing our fonts prior to their release. However if you think there’s a disfunction please take a screenshot and send us an e-mail describing the problem. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Can I get a Free Trial?
Yes we offer free trials. These fonts, just like their name suggest, are for testing purposes only and cannot be used neither for personal nor for commercial projects.
Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds. Every purchase made on intervaltype.com is definite. Please download free font trials to make sure it’s the right fit for your project.
Can I send the fonts I bought here to a client?
No, our license does not permit transferring licenses to third parties. If you are a designer or an agency you can purchase a license specifying the name of your client as a license owner.
Do you offer customisation of design?
Yes. We offer customisation of typefaces from our catalogue as well as new and unique type designs. Please contact us for more information.
